Terms and Conditions for Script & Sip

Welcome to Script & Sip! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online platform and the services offered by our cafe, including artisan coffees and teas, freshly baked pastries, light meals, calligraphy workshops, custom stationery design, and bespoke fountain pen sales. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our site or any of our physical premises or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or access our site.

2. Services Provided

Script & Sip offers the following services:

• Artisan coffees and teas for consumption on-site or takeaway.
• Freshly baked pastries and light meals.
• Calligraphy workshops, including introductory courses and advanced sessions.
• Custom stationery design services.
• Sale of bespoke fountain pens and related accessories.
• An online platform to promote our offerings and facilitate workshop bookings.

3. Workshop Bookings and Cancellations

Booking: All calligraphy workshops must be booked and paid for in advance through our online platform or directly at our cafe. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellations by You:

• Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop date will receive a full refund or can be rescheduled.
• Cancellations made between 3 and 6 days before the workshop date will receive a 50% refund or can be rescheduled, subject to a rescheduling fee.
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before the workshop date are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Cancellations by Us: In the unlikely event that Script & Sip needs to cancel a workshop, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to another workshop date.

4. Custom Stationery Design and Bespoke Fountain Pen Sales

Design Process: For custom stationery, a detailed consultation will be held, and a design brief will be agreed upon. Revisions are limited as per the agreed package.

Payments: Full payment or a deposit will be required for custom design work and bespoke fountain pen orders as specified during the order process.

Returns: Due to the bespoke nature, custom stationery and bespoke fountain pens are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty or not as described.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our online platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the design of our custom stationery and workshop materials, are the property of Script & Sip or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

Script & Sip will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on our services; (iii) any content obtained from our services; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
